Dr. Jackson is well known for his communication, fairness and honesty with his clients.  He is also known for his objectivity and has performed services for both claimant and defense.  He commonly attends his patients' appointments, has the doctors address their ability to return to work and coordinates the recommendations and referrals immediately.  He also contacts both the carrier and employer after each appointment and works to have the employer offer the accommodations necessary to allow the patient to return to work quickly.  His services are provided in both forensic and non-forensic cases and always employ a scientific methodology, proven to be reliable and valid based.

Dr. Jackson's philosophy is that working and earning income is always preferable to receiving disability income.  This philosophy is founded in the research that shows employment provides value and satisfaction to workers such as achievement, comfort, status, altruism, safety and autonomy.  Work is one of the principle means by which one's life role is given clarity and meaning.  People on disability are denied these essential values, leading to mental health consequences like anxiety and depression.

The longer the injured worker remains out of work, the more likely the worker will never return to work.  Research reveals that only 20% of workers who have been out of work for more than six months will ever return to work.  Because less than half of the 17 million Americans with a severe disability were receiving disability income, Americans with a disability should do everything within their power to return to work.
